Brian Starkman

Brian was called to the Bar in 1987 and joined the provincial prosecution office. For the next few years he prosecuted a variety of criminal charges.

For the past 20 years, Brian has defended individuals charged with a wide range of criminal offences. He has appeared in all levels of the Ontario court, including the Court of Appeal. He has lectured at Judge’s conferences, as well as prosecutor and defence seminars.

Throughout his years defending clients, Brian has built a particular expertise defending individuals charged with impaired driving offences. Brian’s “no holds barred” method of defending his client has led him to become one of the top impaired lawyers in Ontario.
